Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) were created by the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement and Modernization Act signed by President Bush on December 8, 2003 and are designed to help individuals save for future qualified medical and retiree health expenses on a tax-free basis.  Below is a list of pertinent links to the Health Savings Account law (Publication 969),  eligible HSA medical expenses (Publication 502), and periodic treasury updates that effect HDHP deductible minimums and maximums, and HSA contribution maximums each year.
